What is DAP condition?
- The buyer is responsible for unloading the goods.
- Delivered to a pre-agreed location
DAP – or DELIVERED AT PLACE means that the seller delivers the goods and transfers the risk to the buyer:
1) when the goods are made available to the buyer
2) on the arriving means of transport, ready for unloading
3) at the agreed destination, or
4) at an agreed point at that destination, if such a point has been agreed
The seller bears all risks associated with the delivery of goods to the contractual destination or to the contractual point at that location. In this Incoterms® rule, delivery and arrival at the destination are therefore the same.
