Materials
EVA, or ethylene vinyl acetate, is a polymeric plastic. The mixture of organic binder and polymer is injected into molds, where at -80 °C the packaging acquires the shape of so-called lyophilization. EVA plastic is no longer degradable, but can be recycled. It can only be dissolved with organic solvents. It is used in healthcare, production of sports equipment and tools, production of helmets, protectors, etc. It is light, flexible, soft and flexible. It has a high damping, is waterproof and unsinkable. It is resistant to UV radiation. It does not crack in extreme temperatures, is tough and retains its flexibility. We use it mainly for the production of durable cases that are intended to protect the contents, such as packaging for electronics, medical devices or are exposed to extreme loads, such as packaging for snow chains.
