The cotton we use is always prewashed to get rid of starch and precipitate. Thanks to this fact, it is softer to the touch, does not smell and retains its shape for a long time even after repeated washing. It dries quickly and doesn´t smudge. You can choose from various weights, which we will be happy to advise. This variant is an ideal choice if you are looking for ecological material for a reasonable price.
The Global Organic Textile Standard certificate guarantees that cotton meets strict environmental standards. Cultivation takes place in organic quality without the use of fertilizers or pesticides. Cotton is of much better quality because the fiber is not violated by the chemicals used in normal cultivation and processing.
We are a certified cotton producer with its own FLO ID: 36150. This certificate proves that cotton production takes place under the supervision of social, economic and ecological conditions. Farmers and craftsman work in accordance with the International Labor Organization (ILO) Convention for a reward that provides them with a dignified living. In the case of cultivation, the use of pesticides and other agricultural chemicals is monitored.
The combination of Fairtrade and Global Organic Textile Standard guarantees a selection of the highest quality cotton on the market. Its production is gentle on the material itself, on the soil in which it grows as well as on the people who grow and process it.

The vast majority is processed on yarn, only a negligible amount ends up in the nonwoven fabric.
